The events functionality is an excellent place for your organisation to invite and keep you informed on all the great activities they organise to promote volunteering, e.g. volunteering training, meetings, conference etc.

On the event listing page, you will see all upcoming events that you are directly invited to, or are open to your team/role(s).


You can click on any event to see further details or, alternatively, you can use the quick response actions and indicate whether or not you will be attending.


If you go into the event details, you will see further information such as who else is attending, any attachments such as joining instructions, link to a map location and any other attendees.


When you accept an event invitation, an entry will be added to your calendar and where appropriate an activity will automatically be created for you.

If the event has reached its capacity or the sign-up deadline has expired, you will no longer be able to attend it. Instead, you will have the ability to place yourself on the "On Reserve" list, letting the event organiser be aware that you want to attend. They will contact you if they are able to accommodate you.


Hover over the name of the event organiser and you will be able to send them an Assemble message directly
